Privacy policy
Last updated: 3 November 2026
Koomo Pip ("Pip") is a desktop app for Windows made by Koomo. This page explains what happens to your data when you use the app and this website (pip.koomo.in). The short version: Pip runs on your PC, has no account, and sends nothing to Koomo.
The app
What stays on your PC
- Your settings, notes, clipboard history, timers and widget layout are stored only on your PC.
- Passwords, sign-in tokens and private calendar links are encrypted with Windows' own data protection before they are saved.
- Koomo has no server that receives your data. There is no account, no analytics, no telemetry and no crash reporting.
Services you choose to connect
When you turn on an integration, Pip talks directly from your PC to that service, using the access you give it. Koomo does not see or store this data. The service's own privacy policy applies.
- Google (Gmail and Google Calendar): access to show your new mail and upcoming meetings (calendar access is read-only), and to carry out the mail actions you press, such as reply, mark as read or archive. You can remove access at any time in Settings or in your Google Account. Pip's use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
- Microsoft (Outlook mail and calendar), Telegram, GitHub and Figma: notifications and items for the island, using the sign-in or token you provide.
- Web apps inside the island (for example WhatsApp, Teams, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Copilot) are the real websites, opened inside Pip. What you do there is between you and that website.
- Weather uses Open-Meteo. Pip sends the city or rough location you set, nothing else.
- AI coding agents (Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI and others) report their status to Pip on your own PC only.
Updates
Pip checks pip.koomo.in for new versions. Like any web request, this shows our server your IP address and the app version. We use it only to deliver the update.
Support files
If you ask for help, Settings → Help can create a diagnostics file. It stays on your PC until you choose to send it to us. It never contains passwords, keys, e-mail addresses, chat or mail text.
This website
- No cookies, no analytics and no tracking.
- Fonts load from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google to fetch them.
- Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and time of request) for security and reliability.
Children
Pip is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
